VisaNewZealand Launches Visa Service For Belgium, French, Argentina, German, UK Citizens

United States, 29th Oct 2024 - Belgian citizens visiting New Zealand for tourism or business need a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA), effective since October 2019. This eTA, not a visa, is valid for two years and allows multiple 90-day stays. The $35 IVL fee is paid once per eTA application. Required documents include a passport valid for three months after departure, an email address, a credit/debit card, and a recent photo.

NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR BELGIAN CITIZENS

Since the implementation of the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), it has become easier for global tourists and cruise passengers to visit New Zealand without requiring a visa. Belgians planning to visit New Zealand for leisure or business must now obtain a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) for ease of travel. Belgian citizens can travel to 190 countries, including New Zealand, without requiring a visa. As of October 1, 2019, Belgian citizens must possess a valid eTA when they enter the country. Highlighting the fact that the eTA is not a visa, but instead a mandatory electronic authorization that needs to be obtained before traveling, is vital. The New Zealand eTA for citizens of Belgium can be used for up to 2 years, with a maximum stay of 90 days per visit. Nevertheless, the IVL fee is only required to be paid once when the eTA application for New Zealand is submitted, spanning the entire validity period of the eTA. The online application for the NZeTA for Belgium is quick and easy to complete by answering a few basic personal questions. Once approved, the applicant will receive the NZeTA by email.

Document Requirements for Citizens of Belgian

  • A passport valid for 3 additional months after the intended exit from New Zealand.
  • A filled-out online application form of the NZeTA for Belgium.
  • You can do NZeTA and IVL payment by using credit or debit card.

It is valid for up to 2 years from the date of issue or until the passport linked to it expires, whichever comes first. NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR GERMAN CITIZENS

Individuals must obtain a visa before visiting New Zealand. To put it accurately, German citizens must obtain a NZeTA, which serves as a visa waiver. German tourists holding a NZeTA do not require a standard visa for their trip to New Zealand. German nationals need to meet specific criteria before being eligible for visa-free travel to New Zealand. The NZeTA online system, which was launched in 2019, waives visa requirements for German nationals. This program enables people from over 190 nations, like Germany, to travel to New Zealand for purposes such as tourism, business, and transit. Once approved, the New Zealand eTA allows individuals from Germany to visit New Zealand multiple times without requiring a visa for a maximum of two years. German travelers holding an NZeTA are allowed to remain for a maximum of 30 days during each trip. The introduction of the New Zealand Visa Waiver Scheme aimed to enhance security and provide protection. German citizens can enter New Zealand without a visa for stays up to 3 months with the New Zealand eTA. The New Zealand eTA is also electronically linked to the German passport. Citizens from Germany must apply for a visa before entering New Zealand if they plan to stay in New Zealand for more than 3 months. NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR UK CITIZENS

British citizens visiting New Zealand do not need visas. The New Zealand eTA was implemented in July 2019 and became effective in October 2019 for citizens of the UK. The NZeTA provides UK citizens with an online visa exemption for visiting New Zealand for various reasons such as tourism, business, and transit. This online travel authorization removes the requirement for UK citizens to physically go to an embassy to apply. Hence, British tourists can easily travel to New Zealand for either vacation or job-related reasons. The NZeTA allows UK travelers to visit New Zealand by exempting them from needing a visa through an online system. The New Zealand eTA is an online visa waiver that allows UK citizens to make multiple trips with no limit. Every stay could last for a maximum of 6 months. An electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) remains valid for a maximum of two years from the date of issuance or until the expiration of the traveler's passport, whichever comes first. An approved New Zealand eTA is electronically linked to the traveler's passport. A New Zealand eTA application form can be completed from anywhere using a smartphone, tablet, computer or any other device with internet access. The application takes less than 30 minutes.
